Qui Barz

Biography

Qui Barz is an American rapper from Lauderhill, Florida, currently signed to Rich Nation Entertainment.

Aquisha Burke, professionally known as Qui Barz, was born on May 23, 1993. Growing up, she would often listen to hip-hop music with her mother, father and grandmother. They would listen to such artists as Tupac, Jay-Z and Lil Kim. She was very inspired by this music and began writing original material at just 7 years old.

Throughout her school-age years, Qui Barz regularly took part in rap battles which allowed her to easily make a name for herself. She was a self-described “good kid and decent student.” Unfortunately, when she was just 12 years old, her mother lost her battle with Lupus and her father was in and out of jail. Because of this, she kept to herself a lot. Despite her surroundings and childhood, she still has been able to do a lot of positive things with her life.

In 2011, after graduating high school, she began to seriously pursue a career in music. She started traveling to Miami to participate in different showcases in the area.

On June 22, 2019, Qui Barz won the ongoing Rich Nation Entertainment showcase called “Who’s Hotter Than Me?” The prize was a recording contract and a feature with Mayback Music recording artist Gunplay. You can expect their hit single entitled “You Can Get It If You Want It” on Rich Nation Entertainment via Sony Music and Warner Music Philippines very soon.

An undeniable talent; Qui Barz is well on her way to becoming a household name in music.
